I am sure that it will not come as a surprise to many of you. That my passion in photography is not just in wedding and events. A wise fleet street photographer once said to me. ” If you haven’t got a camera on your person, you can’t take a picture”. It may sound silly but is simply oh so true.

For myself, photography has always been something that I have had a great interest in. Even back in the days when I used to use my fathers Kodak Instamatic and then later his Yashica DSLR and then finally his Canon.

That was it, from that point onwards, I was a Canon man. Only deviating for a short time to an Olympus OM10 before returning to Canon for life.

To be honest, there is little difference between Canon and Nikon. Some things are better on one than the other but ultimately they are very similar. A point that could be and is argued by both sides. In a lot of cases, it’s what you are used to using/owning, much like a PC or a MAC person.

So basically, I enjoy taking pictures of mostly something that is dynamic with movement, that is always changing. Much like the dynamics of a wedding day. No two weddings are ever the same and each one is adding to my level of experience.

In the past, I have found and continue to find myself drawn to many other genres of photography including sport such as football and Rugby.

I have even been lucky enough to have some rugby picture printed in the local paper. Its always good to see your work in print 🙂

Another genre that I love to photograph is wildlife in Sussex. Its often a welcomed challenge seeking out that well timed photograph.

I have to also confess, to being somewhat obsessed with our 8 year old Labradoodle Wilf. Who is always having his picture taken. After all he is a very handsome lad and at times a little nutty 🙂

Like I said nutty !!!!!!

And totally adorable 🙂 but then I am biased.

So as you can see, I am never happier than when I have a camera in my hand. I am always up for a challenge one way or another. So my passion for photography continues to be a massive part of my life.

I hope that you have enjoyed a small insight in to my world! maybe I will add to this at a later date 🙂

Thanks for reading this entry and I will try not to leave to so long next time.

Best wishes
